I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory about a week ago but just now am getting around to posting. I was debating on it... O.o' lol.
Anyway, it wasn't the best movie ever. In fact, I wouldn't have gone to see it if it weren't for my friends. I had wanted to at first when I heard about it but then the commercials made it look awful. But I saw it anyway. And I'm pretty glad I did even though now I'm out five bucks.
I don't like stupid comedy most of the time, but for some reason in this movie running into a glass wall TWICE was hilarious. Even the second time, when you could obviously see the glass, I laughed. I was surprised, but it was a nice surprise.
The music? *Laughs* That was interesting. And yesterday I actually had Willa Wonka's little annoying tune stuck in my head! I couldn't believe it. That stupid little, very annoying (on purpose, the writer explained on a TV show) song. Oh well... it is unfortunately extremely catchy.
So some of the stuff was just stupid and ridiculus, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it anyway. *Shrugs* You should just see it if you've been considering it at all.
Oh, and suddenly I want to see the old one to compare... and read the book. XD

I liked the old one, and the book. But Roald Dahl was always one of my fave authors.
His adult literature is pretty damn good too. If you don't mind something with outrageous content and sexual references, My Uncle Oswald is a fantastically funny book.
