I daresay you've all seen the DMC4 scans that have been circulating around teh interwebs.
So, first impressions?
Personally, I'm not sure if I like Dante's new design, I'm really not happy that he as yet appears as an unplayable character and once it was apparently pretty certain that Nero is not Vergil, my interest waned severely.
For me, DMC is about the Sparda family, so therefore, as a main playable character, it should have Dante, Vergil or Sparda, or any combination of the above.
I daresay it'll be a brilliant game with excellent gameplay, but for me, if the rumours are true, then I'll see it a bit like Shin Megami tensei:Lucifer's call. A good game in it's own right, but with minimal connection to DMC.
I really think a lot of fans are unhappy with this seeming direction of the game. Judging from what I've read so far anyway. When are game companies going to start listening at least a bit to the fans?
They could do with remembering that we pay thier wages.
Gawd I'm ranting a lot today. I think with Steve Irwin (may he rest in peace) dying, other general crap and now this, it's been a bad week for me.
Capcom may suprise us, and this could end out being the most kick-ass DMC game yet.

Yea, I haven't read much about the new game, but from what little I see and stuff.... I'm kinda sad. Don't get me wrong, I'm still happy it's coming out and I'm definitely buying it as soon as possible... but I'm still iffy about this new change of things. Nero looks pretty, but Dante is my passion. Or Vergil. Or even Sparda. But Nero.... eh, maybe he'll grow on me.
Oh well. I still can't wait for the game. And it still looks pretty. And from what I've read the game play is gonna be just the way we like it. So, it has it's hopes. We'll just have to wait and see. We'll just have to see...

Nero is too much of a pretty boy for my tastes in a main character. Dante looks like a dad. But all my hopes are resting on the gameplay. For that, it could be awesome.
