Those would be all the important ones. Who cares about anything else...? Truthfully I never have been either... mostly because I can't do combos so my ass gets kicks easily by other people. But I do like Bloody Roar for the pretty people and Soul Caliber for the same reason... and I've played them thanks only to friends owning them, not me. Heh.

Yes, they are important. The LoK series is excellent beyond words, and so is DMC and the FF series. I've played all of them from 4, but 7 and 10 are my favourites. Though I love all of them for different reasons.
FFVII is my passion at the moment.

Devil's Tears, lol! I like the way you think Yep. I usually get games for the fun/storyline/badass characters factor. Devil May Cry is really up there for having Dante and Vergil. And even a couple of the women characters are really great! ie, Trish and Lady. I'm sure Eva was great too, but we really dont know much about them. Every fanfic out there is just speculation on her. Oh and of course Nevan, just because of her succubus factor

Nevan is the most excellent character ever (and not just because people have said I look like her, minus the red hair and eyes and considerably more clothes XD). Anybody that turns into a weapon that fun gets my vote everytime.
Trish is the most awesome character to ever exist.
But I'm currently waving my 'Reno flag' at the moment XD
fun in a story and gameplay are important, which is why DMC3 is up there. It's fun to play and the bad lines in it never cease to make me smile. I love Dante (as a character people!) but he is such a doughnut XD

I like Reno ALOT...but Rude...he's pretty cute too in that muscular, big guy kind of way. He's actually more of my type...sort of. Trish is cool, but so is Lady **hearts**...the only problem is, is that Lady looks like a little girl so most female fans are put off with that. Usually female fans like the fact that their female characters are 'womanly' looking (look at Nevan and Trish) but Lady's attitude is great. I have a soft spot for her, because she's tough as nails as a human among the demon women. So I don't look to Lady for her looks, but rather her attitude and spunk. As for Advent Children, in the female dept. There's just Tifa and Yuffie (unless you count dead Aeris), but Tifa kicks butt, despite her quiet and lack luster ways.

Tifa's great really.
Lady has too much of an attitude problem for me. But her outfit's pretty cool and I quite like her. Though I didn't initially. I do like the fact she's human.
Rude is quite lovable too, he doesn't say much bless him XD

yeah i see what you mean but her attitude is due to her patricide. If you read the dmc3 manga 2, you'll see how sweet she is. (takes place one year before dmc3 game) And at the end of dmc3, she's very sweet in her narration. I am now currently play Shadow Hearts and find that game a little okay. It's rpg of course and has storyline, but it's not as great as DMC.

I've never played Shadow Hearts.
I wouldn't mind picking up a copy of God of War. It's supposed to be very good.

I couldn't get past the damn hydra boss in the demo... XD
It seemed good... but I'm not interested in it anymore. As you can probably tell by now... I've just become a major fan of Persona. And to think, it's only a PS game. ^_^'' I really love it though. I want all three games. And more manga.

God of War is really good, just... story is not as good as DMC's in my opinion. (I say that because they're both action games.) And it bothered me because it had a ridiculous amount of gore in it. But it was really good, and fun, which I think matters a lot in an action game of course. So yeah, it's at least worth a rental to finish it.
