Yea, that would be interesting... IF IT HAD MORE INFO. Bah... Oh well, thanks for the discovery. I personally wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about the twins' father. It would be a neat game, I can only guess. The title? Yea, umm... no. But about Sparda? Cool, if they can manage to make it a good game.
Aa, well... until we know more there's nothing else to really say. Neat that this series is taking a large turn now though... rather, I mean, that DMC is becoming a big enough series to warrant more and more games and stuff. ^_^

May the growth of DMC continue. Sparda is ao awesome that I'd love to see a decent game about him.

[glow=blue,2,300]I have a wierd question concerning Sparda. If Sparda sealed himself and the demons back into their world over 2 millenia ago, then how old is/was Dante/Vergil and their mother? Does that make them really old?[/glow]

No one knows... except the creators. It's never explained. Of course, that could change once this game comes out if that's what it's even about. Who knows? But, as far as answering your question I, or any other, could only give you guesses or opinions on the matter. Unless you asked the creator/s and he/they gave you a sure answer (they hardly ever like to).
As far as my opinion goes, I could write a novel on the subject. In fact, I've actually said somewhere around here that I'm going to, I just have to get around to it. Put shortly, I'm of the opinion that Sparda sealed up the world and his powers, but stayed in the human world for two millenia living as close to human-like as possible. Because he was a demon, he lived a long life even in human form without his demonic powers. Eventually he fell in love with Eva and had the twins. After that I branch out into a few different possiblities but my prefered is probably that Mundus made an appearance somehow at around the twins' age of six or so and tried to get his revenge, killing Eva and leaving the twins on their own in life. Sparda, I figure, died as well trying to protect or "died." I could go on that forever too, but that's enough I think for now. And as I said, this is only my personal opinion; it's definitely not official or anything.
I've heard of guesses like the twins were "asleep" for many years or that Sparda passed his longivity to Eva and they lived a long time before having the twins or that Vergil was born before Dante several years ago and became demonic over those years (this version therefore making them not necessarily twins) or many other things. It's all just a matter of opinion because nothing of that sort has been revealed. *Shrugs*
My opinion would make the twins 19 in DMC3 and 26 in DMC. But that's a guess too, as is anything else you here. Wait, except that I think in the manga Dante is revealed to be 18 or 19... so that my guess on DMC3 age is pretty much correct...? I can't remember.

My opinion on the whole thing is pretty similar, though I tend to be more of the opinion that Sparda died/disappeared when the twins were babies. I believe the creators did have him around at least until they were 6 months old or so as the concept art shows Sparda, Eva and the twins in a crib that was (I'm lead to believe) a Capcom original.
Though, the translated manga can be interpreted in a way that suggests that Dante and Vergil are much older. Though in all honesty I find that hard to believe just on how Dante acts.

Really? Cool. Thanks!

Well, harsh but true XD And he did look so gay in that scarf. Other than the slightly gay aspect to him and that Arow was correct in saying he shoots like a nonce, he is actually my favourite incarnaton design wise.
Not a problem XD It's a lovely picture.

lol. Nice of you to join us. *Pokes* Nonce... Hmph. Interesting words you Brits have. I dunno... I like the outfit, but not as much as the first. I have to admit, I go for the plain ol' original. Of course, all of his outfits kick ass. That's just Dante for ya... ^_^

Sorry Mor, I thought it was Arow who said that for some reason. Anyway, long time no see, nice of you to join us :]
I love the original for his personality (and that sexy mouth XD). He was such an amazing character in that, even if he did sound a bit dorky at times.

Aaa... but he sounds just as dorky in DMC3 sometimes too. Besides, I probably like that voice the most too for some reason. I guess just because it's the original and I get stuck on things like that. >.< But most of the time I imagine that voice when I'm thinking up a line for him. Unless it specifically came from DMC3 or is closer sounding personality wise, when I'll use that voice, I pretty much stick with the original. I like it. *Shrugs* And I never use his second one... I don't even have that one memorized like I do all my favorite characters' voices.... then again, he never says anything...!

Well, it is hard to memorise a voice you hardly ever hear XD
Nah, apart from liking DMC2 design, my fave Dante is the original. Everything about that game was so perfect. and Trish was looking how she was supposed to, not some squat looking Lucia shape. I could've cried at what they done to her in 2 (I'm such a fangirl).
I don't mind Dante's voice in 3, but I prefer Vergil's. and Vergil's coat.
