Trish had made her way steadily through the building just to find every time she took a route she found her way blocked and had to retrace her steps.
Her only advantage was she hadn't had to fight. Being her master's servant, none would attack her while she was alone. Impeding her business could result in death if the master wished it and none were willing.
Frustrated she tried to sense where the others were but she could sense demons scattered around so trying to pinpoint two demons amongst many was a futile endeavour.
She attempted to sense the half angel instead.

(Sol, pay attention. You can't see without one of the objects.)
Dante grinned in return. "Nifty little things, right?" He held out the object, almost dropped it again, but caught it at the last moment before it disappeared again. "I think they don't like us though..."
He looked down the corridor and spotted Crystal. "You think we should help her?" Then he looked back at his brother quickly as a thought suddenly hit him. "And what happened to Trish? Should we look for her?" He glanced at the shadow, still standing there stationary at the end of the hall. "Or should we go after this guy?" He jabbed his thumb in the direction.

Vergil sighed, "you go help your girl out if you want, honestly, i want to find Trish and and get some answers out of her." he said darkly, she was going to regret deserting them like this, he would make sure she did, he sighed then, "but i get the feeling if we split up again we won't be able to find each other...alive at any rate," he looked at Dante a moment, "your call," he sighed, his eyes never leaving the figure at the end of the passage.

Crystal squinted her eyes in an attempt to see "Hello? anyone here?" she called out. Her eyes scanned through the mist. she was trying her hardest to see.
At that moment a glinting of an object came into her vision out of the corner of her eye. She focused on it and reached out to grab it only to fall on her face, tripping on a small crack. "ow..." she stated flatly. The brunette looked up from where she lay, the object was within reach. she reached out and grabbed it.
Crystal stood and studied the object as the mist cleared. Her green eyes looked around, she never knew her curiosity would actually help her for once. She smiled when she saw Dante and Vergil, but didnt see Trish, "Hey where is the demon girl?" she asked, tilting her head quizzically.

Vergil stared at Crystal from down the passageway, "Thats what i'd like to find out too," he growled and began looking for possible ways she could have escaped without them noticing.

Crystal walked down the halway to the boys, feeling safer near them and looked around. "I have a bad feeling about this..." she commented aloud.

Trish felt like she had been wandering for hours. She was angry at her master for removing her from the group. Trish knew she certainly didn't have Vergil's trust and this wasn't going to help matters. Removing her when he did just made her look suspicious.
She had faintly sensed the half angel so knew what direction to head in, but it hadn't helped matters, Trish still hadn't found a route that wasn't blocked to her.
What kind of game was her master playing? He wanted her on the inside and with the Sparda twins, yet had deliberately seperated her from her set mission. Did he suspect treachery from her? Or was this another twisted game of his for his amusement? Trish refused to waste another moment thinking about it and set about trying to release the lock of a promising door she had found.

Vergil looked around the corridor but could not see another way but forward to where the figure still stood watching them intently. Yamato drawn in one hand, the small crystal like object in the other he slowly continued to edge forward cautiously, loking around checking for any other way out of there, but found none.
His mind wandered momentarily thinking of how Trish had escaped for there was no obvious door in the passageway. he figured that her master had been influencing the whole building and let her escape from it all, he growled, mentally berating himself and his brother for being led into this trap so easily.
he forced away these thoughts and concentrated on trying to find a way out of the seemingly never ending corridor; he glanced back to see what Dante and Crystal were doing.

Crystal followed vergil down the corridor silently next to Dante, keeping her guard up. She knew anything could happen here and she had to try and stay two steps ahead of the next trick or attack.
She felt that Trish's sudden absense had to do with the building. But she didnt know if it was to capture her or not. She hardly knew anything of the twins and even less of the demonic woman. All the more reason she kept her mind ready. Her gut told her something wasnt right here.

Dante smiled goofily and idly waved a hand at his brother when Vergil looked back. He had been, most unusually for him, thinking about what to do when all the quick occurences begin. He didn't bother saying anything as Crystal found her way to them or even before that when his brother asked what he wanted to do. Rather, his eyes focused inward and he pondered the events of the day. Trish's proposal, the castle puzzles, Crystal's sudden appearance, and now Trish's disappearance. He tried to make sense of things, thinking them completely through so not to come to some rapid conclusion like his distrustful brother. Maybe it was just the face, but Dante wanted to believe he could trust Trish.
Shaking his head clear as he continued walking with Vergil and Crystal, he suddenly came to the conclusion that thinking just made his head hurt. So he stopped, looked up, and began focusing on his surroundings again. His eyes almost immediately found the still present shadow looming in the distance. He growled low in his throat, his previous anger at the figure's "fun" with the group coming back to him in a sudden flash. He motioned to his twin, then began to rush towards the shadow, his hand on Rebellion's hilt.
Dante ran right up to the figure, but came to a sudden halt as he faced it. From the distance, Vergil and Crystal could quite clearly see him freeze in front of the form.

Crystal blinked a few times, curious as to what Dante was doing. She saw him stop in front of the form and immediately put her hand on her swords hilt, ready for an attack.

Vergil frowned when Dante froze, he gripped yamato tightly and covered the distance between them in sceonds and stood with his brother watching the figure carefullly.

The Figure moved forward.
"If you are wondering about your comrade, you will not find her here. But she is safe. For now. You however are not."
Standing in the shadows the figure waited to see what would happen next. It would be interesting to see if these Sparda twins were as good as the reputation that preceded them suggested.

(Erg. That was interesting. I was wondering if someone would take control or just wait for me... but now I don't know what to do. I was gonna find a person to be the bad guy or just figure something out. Now... *Shrugs* This will do...)
Dante glared at the figure, even up so close his eyes were still unable to penetrate the darkness that surrounded it. At the thing's statement, his blood began to boil. "Where is she!? What have you done to her?" He brought his sword swinging about before he thought about it, not waiting for an answer. Besides, his brother wouldn't want to wait for one concerning the demoness anyway, he reconciled himself after the brash attack. However, his thoughts quickly turned an about face once he blinked at the figure before him. With the ominous sound of rebounding laughter, the shadow disbursed into swirling mist and faded out of sight.
He blinked again, but his sword apparently had gotten rid of the figure. Of course, Dante had the eerie feeling it was no where near a permanent riddance. He shrugged at his brother's gaze and began to put away his weapon when the laughter returned. It hung in the air like a sticky web and then began to warp into another sound altogether.
Dante glanced around and out of the corner of his eye he barely saw the black flutter of cloth before he rolled out of the way. A scythe scratched the floor as it swung down on the place he once stood. Red clothed half-demon sprang back up to his feet without missing a beat and held out his sword in a ready position. The laughter continued to haunt the hallway, now a high pitched gleeful laughter rather than the hollow, deep echoing laughter of the shadow figure before. This new laughter meant only one thing: a Sin.
Dante looked around again and soon found the cackling spirit. Pointing his sword at it and giving a slow wink to his brother beside him, he called out to their new foe. "Well, well, well. What do we have here? A little bit of fun before the real party begins?"

(haha i didnt know what to put so thats why i didnt post. and now i got a little something i can post)
Crystal drew her sword quickly and held it at ready in front of her. she gave the new enemy a cold hard glare that could put vergil to shame. "What did you do with Trish! Where is she!" the silence that followed her demand angered her even more, she clutched the hilt of her sword tight until her knuckles were a throbbing white.
She used ever ounce of will power she had to not attack the new foe but to no avail. She burst out from behind the twins and charged at the enemy.
