Probably. I'm pretty active on LJ and I post on ff.net too. Though I use a different name on LJ now for my main journal. I thought I'd seen you on Laryna's flist. lol :) Laryna6 is very active on ff.net, well when I used to R/R at DMC ff.net I know she writes a ton of stuff. So yeah, she's bound to be everyone's friend; Bustahead too, as she's been in the DMC fandom since 2002. The veteran there :D btw, drabbles seem to be very popular these days. I think just about every author has been doing them.

yeah, they both write great stuff, and as you said, they've been around a long time in the DMC ff world so they are bound to know most people heh and they are joined with this MB, about the only place they are quiet lol
the only authors i get annoyed with on FFN in the DMC section are Devils That Cry, the time it takes is rediculous, they need to get their butts into gear mega badly and start editing faster and get more chapters up quicker and writing more, pair of useless morons (yay for self bashing XD)
ah yes i think i've read some of Tyrant Hamster's stuff, i think its harder for the less known and quieter authors to get noticed because of all of the more popular and well known authors constant updating, (not that im complaining) but i think it sometimes puts others off which is a shame really.
i've noticed the drabbles increase as well, but im still too lazy to do any lol and im too busy working on the BIA series to write much else...honest i am...just because there is not much being updated doesnt mean its not being worked on....ok so it does you caught me heh, its the editing that delays the posts, i can't help my procrasination, well maybe i could......
*shrug* meh well, it gets done eventually

Hehe, hey all , Devil Sunday just linked me here and um, hehe, I feel a little cheap just strolling in and saying "PLZ RAED MI FIC !!" XD, hmmm, tricky. Well uh, guess it's worth a shot, this is a story series I'm doing, DMC-based but focused around original characters, and I know to some that's a fanfiction sin, trust me I've got much love for the canon cast, and they're included, it's just, this story messes with the fourth wall and such and really the plot demands original characters, give it a look and you'll see what I mean . Hehe, yeah I know that was a bit sneaky, sorry, tyrannical tendencies, but here's the story: www.fanfiction.net/s/3116406/1/. it's a gift from me to Bustahead, one of my best friends ever, and it's updated once every 4 days, the chapters are a few thousands words each and it's up to chapter 4 right now, so, no major essay . Any reviews at all would be extremely appreciated, it's a gift to Busta but also I'm hoping to see how this style and approach appeals to people at large, hehe, this scheming rodent hopes to be a published author one day. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this message, and even more to those who read and review ^^!

I talk to Busta a lot, but I've never really spoken to Laryna. Though yeah, it's hard to miss how active she is in the fandom!
I've been in the fandom since right from the beginning. DMC was the first PS2 game I played, and I've been reading DMC fanfic since there was only about 42 stories on there with was donkey's years ago (how I remember that I have no ideaXD). But I've only been writing since the beginning of 2004, and didn't join ff.net until late 2004.
But I like to see more peple get involved and new peeps joining all the time, which is great.
Drabbles do seem popular these days, which is good for me as I enjoy writing them and don't have a lot of time for much else at the moment.
Tyrant Hamster: As soon as I get time, I shall go take a look, but it'll be in a few days time now.

i first played a couple of yeasrs ago, but never really completed it (it was the neighbours and he wanted it back) then i think me and Arow were in the study room with one of the lads who was talking about the 3rd one last year, i think Arow borrowed it off him and started playing, i just bought them and played (yes even 2...and how i hated it) i completed them before she did, then we started talking about various stories and ideas, then the concept of BIA came to us in the back of the car on the way to a shopping spree hehe then we got the notepads and we started writing the first instantly, (took us from saturday to the next monday) then i think we joined with FFN and posted, then started on the second, then a little through the 3rd, we realised it was easier on MSN, so thats how we continued them mostly (we used smaller notepads when writing in class lol yay for RP writing style hehe) but i've been on FFN since 2003 i think posting really bad LOTR fics hehe its like *cringe* i really wrote like THAT?! XD

You are awesome! i love self bashing. It is a shame. While they are already established and good authors, you're right, maybe there are newer authors/writers that get very intimidated by the sheer volume of the older writers stuff.

Hey again everyone , hehe, I'll keep this quick because this isn't exactly on-topic, but my story, me and Simi decided it would be best to host it on an account of my own, so I got one and the story is here now, if any of you wish to look ^^: www.fanfiction.net/s/3154783/1/.
